Atul is passionate about many things, but accelerating the development of awareness of food safety throughout the industry is at the top of the list. He has been a BRC ATP for Asian Sub Continent since 2006. With the help of Professional artists, Atul and his team has developed Training Aids (Display board, CDs) to spread Awareness throughout the industry.
Mr. Atul has provided Consultancy for design and implementation of HACCP, ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, BRC and ISO 14000 based Management Systems; Imparted training to operational and Management personnel in different quality management systems for awareness and implementation including HACCP, ISO 22000, BRC, food safety, Food Hygiene and Sanitation, Internal quality / food safety audits etc.;
Assisted in Planning and conduction of Food safety investigations for various Organizations including gap-analysis studies, 2nd party auditing; Verification and Validation of HACCP Plans; Conduction of 2nd and 3rd party food safety system audits based on Codex, EU guidelines.
Atul is a Certified ISO 9000 Lead Auditor, Internal Food Safety Auditor. He is also a registered Senior Food Safety Auditor (No. 011213) with Quality Society of Australasia, Australia. His scope of certification includes Dairy Food Processing, Drink & Beverage Processing, Fruit & Vegetable Processing, Food Ingredient Manufacturing, and Canning for High Acid Foods.
Atul is registered as Principal Consultant- FSMS/HACCP with National Board for Quality Promotion (NBQP)/Quality Council of India (QCI).He has been associated (in the capacity as Consultant/Auditor) with more than 60 Industrial Organizations in various sectors from various states of India viz. Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala and from Sri Lanka
He is Bachelor of Technology in Agricultural & Food Engineering – Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology, Bhubaneswar and Master of Technology in Post Harvest Engineering – Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
